Today, having a website is about as essential to your business as having a logo. Not having one already puts your business at a huge disadvantage. Below are some of the top reasons why you need a website.
1.People expect you to have a website
Here’s a stat for you…
According to BIA/Kelsey, “Nearly all consumers (97 percent) now use online media when researching products or services in their local area.” And that was in 2010! Potential customers are looking for you online, you need to be there!
2. Your competition has a website
Building off of my last point, when your potential customers look for you and you’re not there, they go with who is there, and that’s your competition. *Gulp*
3. Higher perceived value for your business
A good looking website not only helps to build trust, communication, and credibility with your customers, it seriously enhances your perceived value.
4. Higher Revenue
SBA states that small businesses with websites average $1.07 million more in sales per year than a small business without a website.
5. Dynamic low-cost advertising
One thing that really does not make much sense to me, is that many businesses will spend a ton of money on static printed advertising before they get online. In many cases, a website can be cheaper!
In addition, it will reach a much wider audience and can continuously be updated with new happenings, specials and coupons, upcoming events, and more.
Plain and simple, not having a website is a huge disservice to your customers and consequently your business.
